Austin Child Guidance Center Voluinteer ArtYour Support Will Change the World!

IAEE Central Texas Chapter is committed to support the Austin Child Guidance Center (ACGC) to help keep their mission, vision, and goals alive in our community. 

The ACGC has their 4th Annual Austin Originals Benefit Concert and Live Taping, Saturday, September 26, Austin Music Hall, featuring Austin’s own Tameca Jones plus NuJazzSwing.  This exciting event is the Center’s main annual fundraiser and they need assistance to for their set-up and tear down.


Event Volunteers Opportunities – Requested for September 26
Austin Music Hall, 208 Nueces Street (parking on your own)

Set-Up:    10:00 to 2:00 p.m.    5 to 10 people needed (must be 18 yrs of age)
Volunteers are needed to help setup tables, registration, silent auction, décor, etc.  Volunteers should dress in comfortable clothing and sneakers (lunch provided).

Event:    5:00 to 9:00 p.m.    5 to 10 people needed (must be 21 yrs of age)
Volunteers are needed to help run registration, escorting guest to their tables, manning raffle or silent auction tables, and as bid-spotters during the live auction.  Volunteers should dress for the event, Austin cocktail attire.  Food & Beverages provided.

Tear-Down:    9:00 to 12:00 p.m.    5 to 10 people needed (must be 21 yrs of age)
Volunteers are needed after the event to help break down tables, clean, and load up ACGC cars.  Volunteers should dress in comfortable clothing and sneakers.   This shift will get to enjoy the music prior to 11 pm closing and breakdown.
